Carley Physical Therapy

After my research was done, I was even more interested in this career. I think that this career, even though it isn't the best paying, is still one of the ones I am most interested in. I can see myself doing this job one day, because I have always wanted to do something in the medical field, and the more research I do on this the more it feels like it's what I want to do. I am definitely going to try my hardest to go somewhere in this direction.

Alyssa Miears- Actress

Is acting the career for you?
Have you ever considered a career in acting? Maybe this can give you an idea of what it's all about.
..............................................

What is acting?: Actors portray characters given to them by directors, and perform television shows, films and live productions as entertainment or information for an audience.

What are the educational requirements for a career in acting?: Educational requirements are not extensive and no formal education is needed for the job.

What skills does one need to be an actor/actress?: An actor/actress needs to be able to be resilient to changes made to the script and have a talent for becoming someone they are not. They must be able to improvise and study scenes, and be able to act well when handed a script they've never seen before (cold reading). Physical abilities like singing and dancing are also helpful.

What are some other interesting facts about the acting career?: In older times, to be an actor or actress, all one needed was to know how to sing and dance. During the middle age, actors were not trusted.

What else might I need to know about becoming an actor/actress?: Like being a freshman in highschool, the most difficult year of acting will be the first. Also, the people choosing whether they will hire you or not (directors, producers etc.) are not your enemy. It helps them id you do a good job.

After doing all of this research on the acting career, I am just as interested in it as I was before. I've already been told a lot of the things that I researched about, and I feel sometimes that I'm not up to it, but I am determined to push as hard as I can for this career, even if it's difficult. I have visions of myself as an actress periodically, and every time I perform in a school play it makes me think, "This is what I was made for." I will need to learn to be more prepared however, and learn how to uphold myself and be more responsible. If I do that, I'm sure to catch the dream I've been chasing since the seventh grade.

Career: Lawyers - Daniel

Career: Lawyers

Lawyers - What are Lawyers? What do Lawyers do?

Well let me explain what are lawyers, and what they do:

  1. A lawyer is a person who practices or studies law as a barrister, attorney, counselor, or chartered legal executive.
  2. Now what lawyers do - Lawyers represent clients in criminal and civil cases, and other legal proceedings, draw up legal documents, or manage or advise clients on legal transactions.
Educational Requirement:

If you want to become a Lawyer/Law Firm - You'll need a Doctoral or Professional Degree

Steps for your road to becoming a Lawyer is -

  1. Must attend a four-year college, and achieve a bachelor's degree
  2. After you've attended a four-year college, then you must attend Law School for 3 years.
  3. After you have got all your training, you will have to take the final and challenging step - The Bar Exam, usually students take a 2 month prepare course, since the Bar Exam is really challenging, it's either you pass - or fail.

NET WORTH INFORMATION

The range of net worth a Lawyer can make can range from $62,250 - 155,037$

Reflection Paragraph:

I've learned that becoming a lawyer isn't as easy as what I thought it to be, it's going to take a lot of learning and studying to become a lawyer and uphold the duties as a law firm, though lawyers make a good amount of money, it still takes a lot of work to get that money people are always talking about, if you're a lawyer that can't win any cases, I don't think the state/court will pay you very much. Right now, I'm debating whether or not to still try and become a lawyer, since I now realize how much education (how much YEARS of education) it will take to become a Lawyer, and it could go to waste if I fail the Bar Exam, I don't think it will be a easy task, but for sure it's still a option. Maybe once the years go by, I might start thinking on persuading that career, being a Lawyer doesn't seem that boring right now, for now, I'm thinking the career for me is a possibility, not a guaranteed.
