Romeo and Juliet reflections

I believe that Shakespeare´s views on love and hate were very intricate and well grounded but I also believe that he thought love and hate could go hand in hand despite the fact that they are opposites. I also think that Shakespeare thinks that love can overcome hate or the other way around as we see in the story when the two ¨star crossed lovers¨ defy their family feuds, fall in love, and get married behind their backs. But, the young lovers relationship takes a turn for the worst when the two, hatred filled, families find out what the kids have done. The families are furious towards the foolish decisions that the children have committed  and ultimately cause the death of their own children. these are both examples of love overcoming hate and hate surpassing love.
